DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION:

participates in the implementation of student exchange programs of undergraduate and graduate studies, and academic exchange, performs at establishing a sustainable funding system for higher education, as well as the system of financing student standards, monitor and coordinate the implementation of the provisions of international conventions, agreements and other documents in the field of higher education, which took over Bosnia and Herzegovina in domestic legislation, performs duties and tasks referred to in Article ... of this Ordinance relating to higher education, the teaching-scientific processes in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as education in specialized disciplines, graduate, interdisciplinary education, lifelong learning and distance learning; initiate the adoption, support and monitor the implementation of standards and norms in higher education; working on improving the students' standards, helps the development of academic and library networks, cooperate with the competent cantonal, entity and state authorities in the field of higher education and coordinates the inter-university cooperation, in order to reform the higher education system; work on raising the quality of studies, initiates and supports the establishment and strengthening of links between higher education institutions in the Federation of BiH and those in other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina; performs other tasks related to matters within the jurisdiction of the Sector.
