SRIRAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST founded in 1983 has its prime objective of promoting higher and technical education .It has, during the last two and half decades developed into a leading provider of quality education from KG to PG. It is further growing in academic stature with well established educational institutes viz., SRIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE,SRIRAM COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE,SRIRAM POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE,SRIRAM INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT and SRIRAM VIDHYA MANDIR MARTICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL . Fortified with the state-of-art infrastructure facilities, it has highly qualified and dedicated faculty members with specialization in the field of engineering, technology, science & humanities, social service and business management.

To mark the silver jubilee of the establishment of Sriram Educational Trust, the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan, Founder Chairman, envisaged a programme in 2007 to establish new educational institutes viz., Arts & Science college for women, Polytechnic college and a Higher Secondary school, in its own extensive lands of about 108 grounds, situated at Vyasarpadi to cater to the needs of students desiring to pursue higher academic and professional courses of studies. The board of trustees under the distinguished chairpersonship of Dr.V.Vasanthi Devi has taken upon itself the ardent task of fulfilling the noble vision of the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan, and has drawn out extensive schemes of constructing new buildings. When his dream is realized it would incorporate all the ingredients of a model institution located in North Madras - a unique vision indeed! The proposed colleges will be affiliated to the University of Madras, and also approved by DOTE, UGC and AICTE, New Delhi.
