About Institution

Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College started its journey on 8th August in the year 1968, located at the south-end of the state of West Bengal under the grace of some education lovers of the locality led by Prof. Dulal Chandra Das, who was the founder Principal of the College, after having affiliation from University of Calcutta with a dream to spread the higher education amongst the local students who did not have the opportunity for higher education and thus could not contribute their best to the nation's cause.

Vision

To spread Higher Education amongst the new-generation-students year after year, specially of neighboring rural students.
To equip and empower students by providing relevant knowledge competence and creativity for their establishment / placement and to face the future challenges specially for our nation.

Mission

To assess regularly the need in the field of Higher Education to introduce new subjects of learning those are relevant, modern and can cope with the demands of the day.
To build up proper infrastructure that will help to ensure appropriate atmosphere for education.
