A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized by the institute on 17th January, 2015. The resource person for the programme was Dr. Alok Saklani, Director, Apeejay School of Management.

The FDP was organized for Faculty Members to give them an insight about the minutiae of case study method of teaching as this method has become an inherent part of pedagogy in higher studies. He also defined the difference between teaching case studies and teaching through case method. He shared his views on different ways of doing a case in a class to have more participation from students in classroom.

In the second session, Dr. Saklani highlighted how to make strategic use of secondary data in the case study and utilize it for solving organizational issues. This was followed by a practical session on a case study which was discussed by all the faculty members. The programme was very informative and helpful for all the participants.
