A Guest lecture on “Project Management” was organized by Department of Management Studies. Dr. S. Swaroop, Former Deputy Director General, Ministry of Commerce & Industry was the eminent speaker. He has vast experience in the field of project management and the construction of Farraka Barrage across river Ganges in West Bengal has been done under his supervision. The objective of the lecture was to educate the students about how carry out project planning and implementation successfully with the help of the live example of Hoover Dam.
