Industrial Visit to Parle G On 30 th January

On 30th of January 2015 IITM organized an industrial visit to Parle-G factory at Bahadurgarh for BBA final year students. The visit was organized with the objective of giving students a bird’s eye view of the manufacturing facility to equip them to be better managers.

In the beginning the students were shown a documentary focusing on explaining in-depth the history and the fundamental management functions being carried out at the factory premises. The short film was entertaining at the same time being informative. Subsequently the students undertook the site visit wherein they saw the assembly line manufacturing the various types of products namely biscuits, snacks and confectionery items sold under different brand names.

Students appreciated the work environment, culture and surroundings of the factory. All in all the students found the industrial visit insightful regarding the internal working environment of the company and its functioning.
