For The last 3 decades, India has been promoting the spread of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Efforts are also being made to provide a digital platform for the inclusive growth of the economy. Digital India is one such initiative of the Government of India under the leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, with the aim of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. One of the objective of the initiative is to enable all the citizens of India to participate in the digital space. However, rigorous measures need to be taken by the Government in terms of providing Digital Infrastructure, Governance and empowering citizens and making them digitally literate for the success of this initiative. The symposium shall provide an opportunity to the students to share their views and research on the theme.
