G. D. Birla Memorial School is an English-medium residential school situated in the lush green hills of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The school, comprising classes IV to XII, is a member of the prestigious Indian Public Schools' Conference and the Round Square International.G. D. Birla Memorial School has been founded by Mr. B.K. Birla and Dr. (Mrs.) Sarala Birla to immortalise the ideals of Late G. D. Birla, a doyen of Indian industry. Founded on July 8, 1987 G.D. Birla Memorial School for Boys was formally inaugurated on August 15, 1987.
