About Institution

Gajjala Raghunatha Reddy Educational Trust was established in the year 2000 with a mission to render service in the field of education and social welfare. It’s vision was to educate rural students, to provide good health and basic amenities and to uplift them educationally, socially and economically. In order to eradicate illiteracy, and to make them self reliant ,a step was initiated in the year 2001 by establishing this premier technical educational institute at Gooty in Ananthapur ,Dist.Gates is headed by its dynamic correspondent, Sri.V.K.Sudheer Reddy. His tireless hard work , devotion and a vision to serve the humanity especially educationally weaker sections, made Gates Institute of Technology stand as one of the best engineering colleges in the entire state of Andhra Pradesh. It would not have been possible, had he not been assisted by his wife, Smt.V.K. Padmavathi. She always stood by him as a standing pillar. Her determination, perseverance, industrious traits and timely advice strengthens him in the affairs of the institution. The correspondent always makes himself available in the campus to take care of the staff and students and to monitor their developments.
