About Institution

The Sanatan Dharam Education Institutions in Himachal Pradesh have been in the service of the people since eight decades. The perspective of its activities dates back to Lahore, which used to be the seat of National & Cultural Revivalism, from where it radiated its effulgence to the area, which now constitute the states of J&K, Punjab, Haryana, H.P. & UT of Chandigarh & Delhi. Inspired by the spirit of sacrifices and service epitomized in the life of Late Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya, that river of knowledge flowed under Brahmleen Tyag Murlti Goswami Ganesh Dutt ji, who passed on the torch of education to his great confident Pt. Amar Nath Ji Sharma, who played a pivotal role in bringing Distt. Kangra out of darkness in field of Education.

G.G.D.S.D. College Rajpur is a link in the same long chain. Pt. Amar Nath Ji set up this college in 1984. Since then it is catering to the Educational needs of far flung changar areas of Palam region & functioning as complete Independent unit.
