: For First Year Engineering Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject AND Secured minimum 50 % marks ( minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject added together. AND Obtained a positive Composite score * i.e., marks obtained after adding 50% of JEE (Main) 2014 (Paper 1) marks and 50% of normalized Standard XII (Board or Equivalent Examination) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Domicile for M.S. resident passed from OMS with eligibility certificate For Direct Second Year Admission in Engineering / Technology The candidate should have passed in first class/first class with condonation, post-SSC or post HSC Diploma course in Engineering / Technology of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) OR of any other recognized Diploma # equivalent to the Diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level OR of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonare (BATU) OR of Smt. Nathibai Damodar Thakarasi Women’s state board of Maharashtra. Such candidates shall produce Equivalence certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) at the time of confirmation of Application Form at ARC. University (SNDT), Mumbai OR of any other AICTE approved institution which has been granted Academic Autonomy by the Government of Maharashtra or University.
