About Institution

GIET School of Pharmacy destined to serve as a Center for Academic Excellence is imparting Pharmacy Education at global standards. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Education (AICTE) accredited by National board of Accreditation (NBA) and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), affiliated to Andhra university, Vishakapatnam. It was established by Sri Koundinya Educational Society, Rajahmundry, a non-profit educational Society. The Governing Body is the supreme authority under which the Institution functions. The Governing Body is responsible for the development and / or approval of the Institute programmes and for the Institute policies. The Governing Body of the Society considered and formed the terms and conditions of service for regulating the various categories/levels of employees in Institution. These conditions of service are well formulated, taking into consideration of the various aspects and aspirations of the teaching and non-teaching staff. The principle objective is the attract persons with missionary zeal and to retain the well-qualified and talented staff in all faculties, with the ultimate object of imparting high standard and quality education in the field of Pharmacy.

Having set the aforesaid goals, the Institute stipulates the conditions of employment, which are clearly just and fair to the interest of both the employees and the Institute. The service conditions are aimed to encourage the employees to take sincere interest and pride in the Institute and its progress and to put their best talents in the discharge of their responsibilities. The Institute encourages its employees to improve their professional qualifications on par with changing needs of the engineering education and to grow in their abilities to serve the institution. Likewise, it wishes to appropriately evaluate, recognize and reward superior performance. The following service conditions are framed with this in mind. However, these conditions and practices will be reviewed periodically and changes will be made as experience indicates.
