The dream and aspiration for a quality educational institution in the mind of a few like minded youngsters of Thodupuzha is the origin and birth of Global Indian Public School in the year 2010-11.
The dream was born during a Leadership Camp which Mr.Thomes. J . Kappen organized at Munnar in the year 2003. Around 62 selected students from different parts of South India participated. Most did very well: yet three students who were from Thodupuzha could not match up in English communication, fluency, self confidence and self expression, while most others did well, with ease. He felt challenged by this situation and shared this thought with a few young men of Thodupuzha. That was the birth of Global Indian Public School – a place from where a student would walk out with excellent communication skills & self confidence along with excellent academic grades.
