About Institution

Government Engineering College, Bhuj (G.E.C. Bhuj) was established on 26/09/1994. G.E.C. Bhuj is the only Government institute in kachchh district for U.G. and P.G. in Engineering Discipline. It offers bachelor degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering and Mining Engineering. This institute is also offering masters degree programs in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile Engineering) and Electrical Engineering (Power System Engineering). The College is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The college is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, and the admission process carried out through centralized admission process of ACPC and as per the Government of Gujarat norms.
