Government First Grade College, Bantwal

About Institution

Government First Grade College , Bantwal was established in the year 2007. The college was started with B.A. , B.Com and B.B.M. courses and 140 students were admitted in the first year, that is, academic year 2007-08.
The college was started in a rented building and was run for four years in that building. The college was shifted to own premises in June 2011. Now the college has its own building with 4.09 acres of land. The college is situated in the green surroundings at about 3 km from B.C.Road, the taluk headquarters of Bantwal. The college is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by the UGC under section 2(f).

Vision

The vision of the college is to see the students from all the sections of the society to go out of the college getting the full benefit of higher education and become employers as well as employable and become the real resources to the society and the country.

Mission

To encourage the creative participation of the students in all the activities of the college and make them learn by experience.
To promote the research attitude among students and teachers.
