Nagercoil is the capital town of Kanyakumari Disrict and Asaripallam is about 3 kms from Nagercoil. The Campus which in the past functioned as TB Sanatorium with an area of 100.5 acres has now become the Kanyakumari Govt. Medical College & Hospital a serene, eco friendly campus with greeneries all around. The college is now functioning with effect from 16.08.2004 onwards with an annual intake of 100 students.
