About Institution

Government Polytechnic Belgaum started functioning during year 1958. Started with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering at present there are 6 courses with 420 annual intake plus 25 students with disabilities under the scheme of integration people with disabilities in to the mainstream of Technical and Vocational Education. Government Polytechnic Belgaum has a team of dedicated teachers and supporting staff with whom co-operative efforts made the principal to work efficiently and in a manner needed by the present competitive and challenging situation. Government Polytechnic Belgaum has entered into competitive exercise of redefining the role hours in every activity of imparting technical training and to get certification from the authorized agency such as NBA. Government Polytechnic Belgaum applied for getting Accreditation for all the 6 courses. Every effort is being put into carry out the functioning of Government Polytechnic Belgaum in which it has to be done under the norms by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). .
