About Institution

GPT- Government Polytechnic Gulbarga is a Government Institution situated at GULBARGA and it was established in the year 1956. The Institution is located in a sprawling campus of 6.7 acres. At present, the Polytechnic is wholly run by the Government of Karnataka and comes under the purview of Directorate of Technical Education. This is a highly reputed institution and is a recipient of various projects grants from Central Government and State Government. This Polytechnic is nodal center for online state level diploma admission process and zonal valuation center for the districts of Gulbarga, Yadgir, Bidar, Raichur & Bijapur.
