About Institution

GTRTC (Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Dumka) has been established in 2007 by the Department of Industries, Government of Jharkahnd with the assistance of Ministry of MSME, Government of India and registered under society act 1860. The centre has training and production wing equipped with latest range of CNC and conventional machines having the industrial controls procured from global market including CAD/CAM, ultra modern class rooms with latest teaching aids.

Vision

GTRTC, Dumka envisioned becoming an apex Institution of national repute to Assist small and medium scale industries in India to constantly upgrade technology and manufacturing processes so as to successfully face increasing global competition. To become nationally acclaimed center of excellence in the area of core competencies by providing solutions in Tool design & development, manufacturing, skill development & up gradation and project consultancy. Developing competitive edge through adoption of best manufacturing practices. Develop value-added bridging courses by twinning arrangements with reputed institutes and organizations.

Mission

Focus on guiding Trainees especially from socially disadvantaged sections of the society for improving Employment potential including Self-Employment.

Constantly enhancing capacity utilization of Testing, Processing, Tool Room and CAD/CAM facilities through efficient costing and pricing modes. Pursue joint ventures with industrial processing units, Tooling units and machinery, equipment and instrument manufacturers.

GTRTC, Dumka would focus on Mould/Tools making with updated CNC machines as the support and service institution, GTRTC's mission is to augment interaction with the user industry and entrepreneurs for mutual benefit. GTRTC would be targeting to embrace wide range of activities in extending technical assistance to the industry to make the competitive and techno-commercially viable in the global market place.
