Government College, Amargarh is a premier & prestigious seat of learning. This is co-educational institution which appears on the graph of Malwa Region of Punjab in 2013. It will serve the people of this area with great enthusiasm in academic, cultural & sports field. The college is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. Amargarh enjoys good reputation as an institution of higher education in the State. It is situated on Malerkotla-Nabha highway. There are three newly constructed beautiful teaching blocks, i.e., Science, Arts & Commerce and Information Technology and having well furnished class rooms & laboratories.
