Govt. Industrial Training Institute Ambarnath is one of the most well-known and efficient Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Maharashtra State (MS, India).

This Institute is established in Year 1963. Total land area of this institute is 40347 sq. mtr. and built up area is 12357.88 sq. mtr.

Total 29 vocational trades ( 77 batches, 1132 trainees ) are undergoing different vocational training programs under various regular schemes like CTS, COE, AVTS, Artizen to Technocrat and ATS in this institute.

It is situated in Ambarnath Town (Suburban area of Mumbai Metropolitan) opposite of Ambarnath Ammunition Factory on Kalyan - Badlapur Road, approximately 1 km away from Ambarnath Railway Station and approximately 5 km away from Ulhasnagar Town. It is well connected to other suburbs of Mumbai by roadway and railway.

It belongs to Directorate of Vocational Education & Training.Mumbai, under Ministry of Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliated to DGET-Director General of Employment & Training, Delhi, under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India

This Institute is awarded the Best Performance Award (Maharashtra State) by Hon. Chief Minister in 2005.
