Guru Nanak Devji, went on Four Missionary Tours. In the second one which was Southwards (Deccan), he passed through Bidar. On listening to the woes and tales of the people of Bidar, Guru Nanak Devji after taking the name of Waheguru, moved the nearby stone with his right toe and a fresh water Spring gushed out. This continues to flow till date Next to this spot, a magnificent Gurudwara Called "Gurudwara Sri Nanak Jhira Saheb" has been built.
