The school’s amazing journey started with its inception in year 1974 by a visionary Sardar Bahadur Ujjal Singh - the 1st President of the Governing Council. The school building was formally inaugurated in February, 1976 by Giani Zail Singh - the then Chief Minister of Punjab. The school as it stands today strategically in the heart of the City Beautiful, amidst the beautiful ambience of lush green lawns and sprawling play grounds, is ably managed by stalwarts constituting the Governing Council. Under the able guidance of its President - Dr. Gurpreet Singh (CMD, CDIL, Chandigarh), Vice-President - Dr. G.S. Randhawa (Ex-Vice Chancellor - Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar) and General Secretary - Sardar J.S. Bawa [IPS (Retd.) - Former Director, CBI], the school is treading fast on its way to all glory and success.
