About Institution

The institution is established by the parent body "Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Education Society". The pharmacy college is established under the aegies of Guru Ramdas Khalsa Institute of Technology (GRKIST).

In year 2002, aspiring students of Jabalpur were given option of pursuing pharmacy education through GRKIST (Pharmacy). Earlier there was no option available in the region & for pursuing this topic and the students had to go to far off places.

Initially permission was taken for intake of 30 seats, which was increased to 60 seats (UG) & 54* (PG) /year (maximum permissible), because of demand of students. As on date, five batches have passed out, academic results are consistently improving, students are continuously getting placed properly & the Institution is heading towards greater success. Students are being tuned to become survivor in this era of intense competition. Skills are being provided along with knowledge to make them True Professionals.

Focus is also laid on developing creativity, by involving students in various activities including Literary & cultural competitions, Indoor & Outdoor sports, Guest lecture series etc.

Student counseling in groups & on individual basis is an ongoing phenomenon. Students are also made to realize the efforts made & hardships faced by parents to make ‘successful child dream’ come true.

The vision of the college is to be known as a college of excellence, innovation, research a Pharmacy College to be known for its contribution in service to the country by way of high academic standers in Pharmacy Education and as a college having highest quality of staff and faculty.

Mission

The mission of the college is to provide high quality affordable education in Pharmaceutical Sciences to under graduate, post graduate students and Pharmacy related professionals. The college will provide a strong base in the knowledge of Pharmaceutical Sciences and educate individuals from different backgrounds who will take care of healthcare needs of peoples in this area, this state and of the country by keeping high ethical standers and maintaining levels of competence.
