Ideal College of Arts & Sciences (Degree) (Autonomous) has been duly recognised for its services by AP State Government, AP State Council for Higher Education, Andhra University, UGC, AICTE of New Delhi and various prestigious institutions. The Ideal College of Arts & Sciences (A), Kakinada has become the first Andhra Pradesh State Government Aided College in East Godavari District to secure NAAC accrediation and Autonomous status. The Degree Courses of Ideal College of Arts & Sciences (A), Kakinada have full-fledged combinations in Sciences, having all the core subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and restructured & vocational courses like Applied Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Bio-technology, Microbiology and Bio-chemistry. Inaddition to the Science courses the College also offers B.A and B.Com. The achievements of the degree students are on par with those of the P.G. Courses.
