IFSMA an academy was established in 2007. Registered by Council of Human Resource Education Development under Act from MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Education Development), Government of India, Regd. No. 52609/2014/CO/A.

Education holds the key to economic growth, social transformation, modernization and national integration. The national policy on Education formulated in 1986 and modified in 1992 aims to provide education of a comparable quality up to a given level to all students irrespective of their caste, creed residence or sex. It aims at promotion of a national, a sense of common citizenship and composite culture and strengthening national integration. It says stress on the need for a radical transformation of the education system to improve its quality at all stages and gives much greater attention to science and technology. The Directorate of Education earnestly endeavors to implement the policy. IFSMA is a recognized Academy by Council of Human Resource Education Development, Government of India. Industrial Fire & Safety Management Academy –IFSMA has authorized to impart quality education through its network branches. IFSMA is No. 1 Academy having different Branches across all over India in Three States. In Gujarat, IFSMA has 05 Branches (Ankleshwar, Surat, Bilimora, Tharad, Palanpur), in Maharashtra IFSMA has 02 Branches (Pune, Nasik), in Panjab (Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiyana etc. IFSMA is a Leading Council of India in All Segments of Fire & Safety Management Education and Training in India. As the civilization grows, various activities are prone to disasters. Accidents and incidents are either deliberate or due to technical flaw. The educational facilities are provided in stages. I-e, Pre – primary, primary, middle, secondary senior secondary and university level Directorate of Higher Education was set up in the year 1997. It was given the independent responsibility of looking after the “College branch” of the education department vide cabinet decision no. 174 dated 25th may, 1996 Division of Human Resource Development. The division of Human Resource Development in the Department of Education policy, organization and leadership is recognized at the state, national, and international levels as a leading academic program for research and education on individual and organizational performance.
