Infant Jesus College of Engineering, a constituent of Infant Jesus Group of Engineering Colleges, is one of the leading engineering institutes in the southern part of Tamil Nadu. The Colleges approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University. It was founded by Infant Jesus Educational Trust (IJET), a charitable Minority Trust comprising of leading experts in the field of education based at Chennai. It is located on the Tirunelveli - Thoothukudi National Highway, the NH-7A. Spread over an area of 64 Acres of lush greenery and surrounded by Vallanadu hills, the college provides an environment conducive for learning. It is located at a distance of just 18 KM from Tirunelveli Railway station and 31 KM from Thoothukudi Railway station. The Thoothukudi Airport is located at a distance of just 15.70 KM. A highly qualified faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure are the twin pillars of the academic excellence of this institute.
