The Brazilian-born Facebook cofounder Eduardo Saverin renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2012 and has been living in Singapore, where he's been making investments in international technology startups. Saverin also cofounded Velos Partners, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles, which reportedly was looking to raise a $100 million fund. He is the firm's chairman.
