Jamini Roy College, Beliatore was established in 1986. The College is named after Jamini Roy, famous Painter. This is a private aided college. It was established to impart higher education in this region. Beliatore is a census town situated in the Bankura District in the western part of West Bengal. The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching. The curriculum is designed by the Boards of Studies of Burdwan University. The college offers under graduate courses in Arts stream. The college is well equipped with all modern facilities including a well stocked library.
