About Institution

Jan Nayak Choudhary Devi Lal Institute is ISO 9001:2008 certified. It was established for the purpose of providing theoretical and practical training to the students after completion of 10th and 10+2 classes as per rules & regulations of Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula.

It is in betterment of existing I.T.I. courses in which apprentices were getting merely practical training in various Industrial Training Institutes. However, as per modern Industrial requirements, the students must have knowledge of both practical as well as academic aspects. The institute has a state of art building with all facilities in which separate blocks for each major discipline have been provided.

To impart quality education in technical education professions and develop the JCD Polytechnic into centre of excellence for board range of education of international standard, for all, with a view to realize the dreams of Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal , the founder and Deputy Prime Minister of India ,to uplift the masses from poverty and improve their quality of life , through education , empowerment and employment. The mission and target is to produce diploma graduates who are able to get international standard education through healthy academic environment, proper guidance and constructive counseling. Under this institution the students not only show their capability in practical approach to problems but also augment their knowledge with theoretical considerations and even work in the area of research and development.
