In accordance with the National Policy on Education (1986) of Government of India, this Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bagudi, Dist. Balasore has been established during March 1987 with co-educational residential nature for holistic development of children’s personality fully financed by the Government of India and run by an autonomous organization – Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (Under ministry of Human Resource Development) covering VI to XII with the following aims:To provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas without regard to their family or socio economic condition.To serve in each district as focal point for improvement in quality of school children in general through sharing experience and facilities.To ensure that all students of JNV’s attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in the three language formula.This Vidyalaya is an institution of a Pace Setting Educational Centre with multifarious and dynamic dimensions having earned the goodwill of the Students, Alumni, Staff, Parents and locality. With an outstanding academic scenario comprising uncommon Co-curricular activities, NCC, NSS, Scout and Guide.
