About Institution

Kalinga Institute Of Mining Engineering & Technology (KIMET) is the oldest institute of angul which provides diploma degree for various courses. It is playing a big role to improve the educational level and provides a qualitative education to their students. Institute comes under the State Council for Technical Education and approved by AICTE. This was established in 1989 and now completing their 23 years of their glory. The institute aims at producing a high quality diploma engineers of profound scholars having deep basis of technical knowledge along with extensive practical knowledge duely competent to serve in the technical services of the country & thus giving a fair opportunity to the students in fulfilling the technological void & compete qualitatively.The gole of the institute is to safeguard the future of the youth.

It provides diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engg, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. The institute is established in well eco friendly green campus in 41 Acres of land with its aesthetic natural beauty which developes an academic environmental for the students.The institution has a training & placement cell which arranged better training & guide to the students for their placement in the reputed industries & organizations.
