Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jajpur is one of the units functioning under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a newly opened school started functioning with effect from 6th August, 2010 with classes from I to IX. At present the school is running in a temporary building provided by the State Government Authorities with 8 rooms & toilets situated in the campus of Biraja High School, Devidwar, Jajpur. The permanent building of this Vidyalaya will be constructed at Akarapada which is about 2 kms. away from the existing temporary accommodation.
This Vidyalaya is opened with a view to imparting man making education, providing opportunities to the students for their holistic development, strengthening human values, transforming students into global citizens with national ethos, pursuing excellence in the field of education.
