Kendriya Vidyalaya Kapurthala Cantt. was established in 1986 and is being run under the aegis of the KVS. The Vidayalya has proved itself to be the vital and indispensable organ of the organization. (KVS)
In the present scenario where Indian Culture and traditions are being constantly influenced by the west, the Vidyalaya tries to amalgamate both by instilling in the child a scientific temper and respect for his own cultural heritage and traditional values of life, a fusion that prepares him for facing the new challenges of the fast changing world.
