In 1984 it was the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan who as a pace setter in the field of education established its unit at Kokrajhar with a sole motto to cater to the educational needs of the tribal children along with the children of central govt. employees. Sponsored by the district administration Kokrajhar under the able guidance of Mrs. P. Baruah this school was started. Since then this Vidyalaya is catering the educational needs of the children of priority categories as well as the children of local population.

It is a Civil Sector school. It is situated near Post Titaguri approximately 6 km. far from BTAD capital town Kokrajhar (ASSAM). Presently we are imparting quality education to the children up to + 2 level in science stream.
