Kendriya Vidyalaya OCF came into existence in 1985 in the Defence sector with Ordnance Clothing Factory Avadi as the sponsoring agency. The Vidyalaya has a building with an imposing structure inaugurated in October 1995. Located in sylvan surroundings, it provides a congenial atmosphere for learning. Every classroom is in itself a miniature India where one can see a harmonious blend of varied cultures. We have classes from class I to XII (Science Stream). We have a student strength of 1299 and qualified staff numbering 40 with more than 80% having post graduate qualifications.
