Khammam Institute of Technology & Sciences (Kits), Khammam established under Sri Kavitha Educational Society is registered under Public Societies Registration Act, 1350F with registration of 1991. The primary vision of the society is to provide good and sound general and technical education to the students so that they will turn out to be useful and sensible citizens of the country. It has a unique distinction of modern age educational institution offering modern, restructured and vocational degree and PG programs, the institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The main objective is to provide educational services to the society on the basis of the strength and dynamic support that we receive from the general public, to create infrastructure for the improvement of technological and managerial skills of the students, to bridge the institution and the student community for the economy and technological growth of the nation. The institute is to produce skilled and scientific manpower in order to meet the challenges of the present day world in a technologically complex and intellectually stimulating scenario and to ensure morally upright technocrats who can strive for the development of the country to involve themselves in the nation building.
