Knowledge Institute of Technology is established by Knowledge Institute of Technology Trust, KIOT Campus, Kakapalayam (PO), Salem - 637 504. Dr.PSS. Srinivasan, Ph.D. as founder of the trust along with a group of Eminent Academicians, Friends and Budding Entrepreneurs has formed the trust to establish world class educational institutions to nurture path breakers, trend-setters, budding engineers, managerial experts and high end professionals.Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT) is poised to become one among TOP 5 engineering institutions in the Salem district by 2015, one among the TOP 25 institutions in the Western Tamilnadu by 2020, one among the TOP 50 institutions in Tamilnadu State by 2025, one among TOP 100 institutions in India by 2030 and one among the TOP 500 institutions in the world by 2035.
