Kuala Selangor is one of the nine districts in Selangor, Malaysia. The district is located in the state of Selangor in Malaysia. It has a total landmass of 1,194 square kilometers (461 sq mi) separated by Selangor River into two division, Tanjung Karang and Kuala Selangor. The district boundary is shared with Sabak Bernam at the north, Hulu Selangor and Gombak at the west, Petaling at the southwest and Klang at the south.

Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor (MDKS), the local municipal council of Kuala Selangor, exercises jurisdiction for the Kuala Selangor District. It was established in 1978 with the combination of five local authorities.
