About Institution

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Campus Rajouri(J&K) was started in 1980. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII (Single Section) with an enrolment of 422 as on 08.07.2015 with Science Streams at the plus two level.
The Vidyalaya has achieved 100% pass percentage in CBSE Class X and Class-XII (First Batch) Examination in the year of 2014-15.
The Vidyalaya provides opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of activities. The Vidyalaya participates in games, sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The activities include Science and Mathematics Olympiad, Green Olympiad, National Level Essay and Painting Competitions, Youth Parliament, Adventure Activities, Educational Tours, Scouting etc.

To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
