Little Flower School is a Catholic Institution under the management of the Bishop of Guntur Diocese Most. Fr.Rayappa Father. The sisters of the Cross of Chavanod from Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, invited by the Founder of the School, Bishop Mariadas, are here to help the administration of the school. The school was established on 16th June, 1982.
It is a co-educational institution from K.G. to Class X, open to all children irrespective of caste, creed or race. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. At present the school runs classes from L.K.G. to X.
The Little Flower school endeavours to draw out the best in pupils, not merely in terms of intellectual formation but in the holistic development of students in terms of moral, social and spirituality.
Through the apostolate of education, the Sisters of the Cross, aim at leading the children, youth and women to experience God’s liberating love and truth and thus become channels of God’s goodness in the world. This formation takes place in the contexts of one’s relationship with self, others, world and God, through the integral development of the person, while acquiring knowledge and attitude, we make them consciously aware of the evils that prevail in our society and prepare them to be the leaven for the change of the society.
Here in this school, we Sisters of The Cross of Chavanod aim at grooming the children to be courageous defenders of truth and justice committed to the cause of liberating themselves and their fellowmen from all evil.
