Majlis Arts and Science College, Puramannur is a premier Higher Educational Institution (Run by Al Majlisu Liddahwathil Islamiya) , a First Grade College in Self financing stream, the first its kind in Malappuram District, affiliated to the University of Calicut and approved by the Government of Kerala. The College is located in a lush green campus sprawling over 25 acres of land in Irimbiliyam Grama Panchayath, is located at Puramannur 1.5 km from Valanchery to Perinthalmanna Road. The scenic and serene environs of the campus in conducive for higher education which is gifted with an enrapturing scenic beauty and with serene and peaceful atmosphere. It started functioning in 1995 with 4 courses and elevated to a First Grade Post Graduate College in 2001 with 6 Under Graduate courses and MSc Computer science.
