MG Polytechnic is housed in a massive world class modern campus in the Metro City limits of Allahabad, very near to the city, on the main State Highway to going towards Phulpoor, which is equipped with class rooms, labs, 14 workshops, computer and AUTO CAD labs, canteen,gen-sets, inventor, security, water filters and coolers, infirmary, pantry, retro graphic and photocopy machines, tutorial rooms, huge library, e library, e journals, administrative wings, stores, wifi campus, internet connections, rain water harvesting systems, bore well etc to give world class Polytechnic education to all students. There are currently 2 Engineering Diploma (3 years duration) courses which are Approved by The All India Council Of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to The Board of Technical Education,Uttar Pradesh (UP BTE), Lucknow. There are 120 seats in first year of Civil Engineering Diploma course and 180 seats in first year of Mechanical Engineering Diploma Course. This Polytechnic is situated just 4 kilometers from Andawan Crossing, Jhunsi and is on the State Highway going from Allahabad to Phoolpur. Its is well connected by 24 hours road /public transport and is just 30 minutes drive from heart of Allahabad city. Admissions are based on the Councelling by UPBTE held each year in July/August but 15% seats are reserved for Management Quota.
