Started in the year 1993, M.G.R.IHMCT as is popularly known is a part of Sri Muthukumaran Education Trust, an educational charitable trust with a coterie of Institutions renowned throughout the country.The aim of the trust is to provide Quality Education to the poor students by starting various Educational Institutions to spread knowledge, to promote and advance the cause of education and the Indian culture by running Schools, Engineering, Medical, Dental and Paramedical Institutions, Hospitals, Libraries, Hostels and Similar Institutions for the benefit of the public.
