Millennium Institute of Technology took shape under the aegis of the Society for research and Technical Studies, a non-profit organization. There lies an excellent team of IIT’ians and industry leaders behind its origin.

Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Institute is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. Spreading over 11 acres of land, the lush green campus of MIT is barely 1 km. from Biharigarh on
Knowledge Corridor, Roorkee-Dehradun National Highway (NH-72A) in District Saharanpur. The foothills of Dehradun add greatly to the tranquil and idyllic environment and 24 × 7 hrs. roadways bus service makes it a convenient reach.

Besides the state-of-the-art central library, laboratories and workshops, there is much more to fulfill our students’ requirements __ the on-campus cafeteria, telephone facility, etc. keep one connected with the world beyond the class-room. Millennium’s ‘Coat of arms’ bears a shining horse and a mighty lion as the symbols of speed and strength. The whole idea refers to the pace of growth with the power of knowledge and virtues. The two together define the character of the institute i.e. Millennium and the student learning under its shelter.

To make our students ‘true achievers’ by means of an ever growing standard of excellence in technical education is our vision. However, we intend to instill in them a deep understanding of human values and national ethos simultaneously.

Millennium takes a prismatic view of education. We hold that knowledge must reflect from the personality of our students. But our broad vision also entails that humanity must also radiate from their faces
