META will create and act as an interactive platform between its members and various vendors from rural as well as urban India for providing motoring services, employment and recruitment facilities. This platform will feed on its own network strength.Mr. Neeraj Gupta, the founder of Motor Education & Training Association‘META’ is a first generation entrepreneur. He started his career by setting up an automobile workshop in 1999, servicing corporate clients like Tata Infotech, Blue Dart and Sony. He ventured into passenger transportation business with a single bus service in 2002 under the Brand ‘V-LINK’ and started providing staff transportation solutions to BPO’s, Airlines and Media Companies.By the year 2006, V-Link was present in 5 cities with a fleet size of over 1300 vehicles and annual turnover of $10 million. Today, V-link operates a fleet of over 1100 vehicles and is the market leader in its segment. In 2007, Neeraj partnered with India Value Fund to set up India’s first Radio Taxi business under the Brand ‘Meru’ and expanded to 4 cities in the next two years. Today, Meru is a market leader in Radio Taxi segment with a fleet of over 5500 taxis transporting over 1 million passengers every month.
