Splendour School was established in Jan 1987 with very humble beginnings in a small city called Kharagpur in West Bengal. The school caters to children from kindergarten right through to the 10th grade and has a student body of six hundred and fifty. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examiniations – New Delhi (ICSE Board).
With the bounty of God, the school has grown from strength to strength becoming a major means of socio-economic development. As the name suggests, it is a Bahá’í inspired school endeavoring to render holistic education to individuals from every facet of life. The school is situated in a Para-military area about 5Km away from the town called Salua. The residents of Salua faced many challenges and difficulties thus with the inception of the school; this area has developed tremendously and has had a positive impact on the families of the school students overall.
