It has been upgraded to secondary level in the year 1989 and to Sr. Secondary level in the year 1992. It is a co-educational school, which is running in a huge, extremely beautiful and well furnished building with Science, Commerce and Arts and Fine Arts subjects. Now with a students strength of 2800, it is celebrating its silver jubilee.
