Narsaraopeta Institute of Technology is promoted and backed by Gayatri Educational Development Society in the year 1998. Gayatri Educational Development Society was established with the main aim of providing Technical education in the Palnadu Region.
Sri. Mittapalli Venkata Koteswarao is the Founder of Gayatri Educational Development Society and Chairman of the Narasaraopeta Engineering College. He is a well known Philanthropist and Industrialist of Guntur District and He is also one of the members of SONET - Society for Networking for Excellence in Technical Education, Govt. of A.P. Narsaraopeta Institute of Technology is run by group of eminent educationalists, Technologists and Industrialists as a result of which the College is successful and is gaining in popularity year on year.
