Nav Bal Niketan Model School, Chandigarh was established in 1967 and Nav Bal Niketan Public School Panchkula was established in 1995 under the aegis of Nav Bal Niketan Educational Society, Chandigarh (Regd). Late Smt Srishta Mahajan, the founder-director and the former Principal of the school started the schools in an honest attempt to serve the child, the builder of nation. Both the schools have made a niche for themselves in the field of education. These schools have enlightened the path of thousands of students by providing knowledge to them.
